Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the DispatchMobile mobile application and operator web dashboard (the "App"), operated by Consult Fourteen Ltd ("we", "us"). By using the App you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. Description of Service

DispatchMobile provides a software platform that connects private hire and taxi operators with their drivers and passengers. We are a technology provider — not a transport operator. Journeys are arranged and fulfilled by independent operators.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use the App.

3. Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

4. Operator Responsibilities

Operators are responsible for holding the necessary licences and for ensuring their drivers and vehicles remain compliant with applicable regulations. Operators set fares and terms for their own customers.

5. Driver Responsibilities

Drivers must hold a valid licence, provide genuine compliance documents, and consent to location sharing while online.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate booking details and behave respectfully toward drivers and operators.

7. Bookings and Cancellations

Bookings may be edited within a 48-hour window. Cancellation terms are set by the operator.

8. Fares and Payments

Operators set their own tariffs. We are not a party to any payment between customers, operators, and drivers. Payment arrangements are handled directly between operators and their customers unless a future integrated payment feature is enabled for your account.

9. Subscriptions and Billing

Operator accounts may include a free trial period. After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription (Starter or Pro, as described on our pricing page). During our launch period, subscriptions are activated manually: email hello@dispatchmobile.net with your company name and preferred plan. We will confirm and activate your account, usually within one working day.

Plans are billed monthly with no long-term contract. You may cancel at any time by contacting us. We do not process subscription payments through the App at launch; billing is handled directly with Consult Fourteen Ltd.

10. Invite Codes and Fleet Access

Drivers and customers join an operator's fleet using invite codes issued by that operator. Operators are responsible for sharing codes only with people they authorise to access their fleet.

11. Location Data

Driver location is used for dispatch and tracking while online, as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Document Uploads

You must upload only genuine, valid documents.

13. Acceptable Use

You must not misuse the App, attempt to disrupt the service, or use it for unlawful purposes.

14. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the App belongs to Consult Fourteen Ltd or its licensors.

15. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services including mapping providers, Expo (push notifications), and Sentry (crash reporting).

16. Disclaimers

DispatchMobile is a technology platform only and is not a taxi operator. We do not provide transport services ourselves.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the App.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the App or breach of these Terms.

19. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or applicable law.

20. Changes

We will give 14 days' notice for material changes to these Terms.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
